Melissa Richardson and Gabriella Palmano set up Take 2 Model Management Ltd with Mairead McFadden in 1982 with a loan of 30k and a couple of rooms rented in the newly redeveloped Covent Garden. It did not take long for the boutique style agency to achieve recognition. A launch party at the Savoy, a few loyal girls and a booking with British Vogue in the first year were enough for the agency to be taken seriously.

In 1990 Mairead left to get married and a new team was recruited to reflect the industry's changes. Models required more extensive management as the fashion business became much more global and relationships were developed with foreign agencies around the world. Since then we have been fortunate to have one the best and friendliest booking teams in the world and over the years to have represented some of the world's greatest models.

In June 2006 we uprooted ourselves from a 24 year lease in Covent Garden and bought a mid 19th Century Warehouse in Shoreditch, an area which mixed the old east end of London ,with all its character, and the cutting edge of the fashion industry. We celebrated the move with an amazing party photographed here. From this beautiful space, designed by brilliant young architect Andrew Philips, the agency is busy developing some exciting English new faces and continues to care for the models in their charge with energy and enthusiasm.

Currently we represent Jasmine Guinness, Maggie Rizer, Lisa Cant, Hye Park, Esther Canadas, and many other individual and exquisite girls.

We aim to provide the very highest level of management to all models on our books. The emphasis is on tailoring each career to meet the needs of the individual, we hope to help the young people entrusted to our care to meet the pressures and uncertainties of the fashion business with equanimity knowing they have a strong agency behind them, guiding them and rooting for them every step of the way. Over the 25 years that Take 2 Model Management Ltd have been in business we have endeavoured to maintain an ethos of integrity and professionalism whilst remaining at the cutting edge of our profession.
